Senior Church Advisor II

About the role

The Senior Church Advisor II serves in the Transformational Engagement division of World Vision. This role reports to the Regional Director, Church Engagement and is based in California, with remote options.

Responsibilities

• Educate pastors and congregants about World Vision's mission and invite them to participate in its programs.
• Develop, expand, and sustain long-term relationships with churches and pastors.
• Represent World Vision at high-level church meetings and associations.
• Plan and implement account management strategies to ensure existing church relations receive appropriate attention.
• Take qualified church pastors and influencers on vision trips to World Vision projects.
• Collaborate with department leaders to develop and implement church growth strategies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (eight years) work experience.
• In addition to education or educational equivalent, work experience in fundraising, partnership management, marketing, ministry, and/or sales; five years required.
• Demonstrated experience implementing moves management techniques to effectively manage high-level accounts or complex partnerships required.
• Established relationships and networks with churches and pastors within geographic areas strongly preferred.
• Experience working with Christian denominations, networks, or large to mega Christian churches preferred.

Salary & Benefits
