Responsibilities
- Develops long-term organization road map, career development, and recruiting plans.
- Designs and implements change management strategies, company-wide procurement sourcing strategies, and category strategies.
- Manages the forecast and delivery of category savings targets in support of team and procurement commitments and goals.
- Develops strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity; handling information and providing exceptional service.
- Oversees supplier due diligence process for supplier selection and prepares procurement strategy for each category in line with the associated risk profile and sourcing strategy matrix.
- Designs and leads supplier and vendor performance through the development of key performance indicators and client/supplier business reviews.
- Oversees and maintains consistent interaction with vendors and business partners to ensure adherence to contracts.
- Develops and executes a robust end-to-end category management strategy and ensures alignment with the business objectives and key stakeholders.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ten or more years of experience in supply chain, procurement, and/or contract management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Construction Management, Operations, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or similar credentials.
- Experience developing and implementing complex category management and strategic sourcing strategies through spend analysis, market intelligence, competitive sourcing events, supplier negotiations, risk assessments, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement to achieve business objectives and operational value.
- Experience implementing procurement tools, processes, and continuous improvement strategies.
- Experience leveraging procurement and ERP platforms such as Ariba, SAP, or comparable technologies.
- Experience communicating and presenting recommendations, business cases, and strategic insights to executive leadership.
- Experience collaborating with internal clients to identify business needs, develop action plans, define deliverables, and drive results.
- Experience analyzing large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and risks and provide data-driven recommendations.
Additional Information
This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs. Relocation does not apply to this position.
