About the role
The Senior Case Manager, Family Child Care is responsible for providing comprehensive support to families enrolled in the program. This includes conducting home visits, monitoring child development, and coordinating services to ensure the well-being of children.
Responsibilities
- Conduct home visits to assess family needs and provide support
- Mentor and train new case managers
- Coordinate with community partners to provide additional resources
- Monitor child development and report progress to families
- Develop and implement strategies to improve family engagement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience working with families in similar roles
- Experience with child development and family dynamics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
