Senior Capture Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Manage two to four capture efforts in various stages for award within 18 months
- Accountable for pursuit end to end, from opportunity identification to proposal submission
- Coordinate with growth organization, corporate functional, and operational teams to execute pursuits
- Ensure quality of all capture and proposal artifacts and products
- Ensure smooth hand-off of information and responsibility between teams supporting the pursuit throughout different phases
- Develop capture artifacts such as (but not limited to): Win themes, proof points, past performance candidate identification, proposal resource requirement identification, risk mitigations, B&P budget, capture snapshot and milestone reviews, etc)
- Develop the opportunity through diligent and timely influencing of customers and by leveraging current technologies, customer intimacies, and inter-company collaboration
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to identify customer objectives, priorities, and requirements and align company capabilities as an innovative industry leader
- Develop and maintain strong industry relations with large and small businesses with significant presence in assigned markets
- Conduct competitive analysis
- Develop and document effective win strategies including teaming and pricing strategies
- Develop and write RFI responses
- Demonstrate solid business acumen in all capture pursuit decisions
- Participate in the identification of potential acquisition targets
Required Qualifications
- Security clearance requirement: Active TS/SCI clearance is required
- Minimum 10 years of experience with demonstrated success in capture of Intel Community contracts valued greater than $200M
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project or program management
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience will be accepted in lieu of degree
- Demonstrated ability to work with senior business and government leaders and to provide leadership within the workplace
- Working knowledge and experience within a mature, industry-leading capture organization targeting space and engineering support
- An ability to drive profitable financial outcomes on each capture with demonstrated understanding of corporate indirect rates and LOE/BOE development
- Proven success in the following discipline(s): Business development, capture management, program management, science and engineering programs, USSF programs, acquisition processes, opportunity identification and qualification
- Demonstrated leadership skills in services-centric organizations to develop, organize and execute significant capture activities, including building industry teams, assessing win probability, and executing customer call plans to shape acquisitions
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a business, science or science related curriculum
- Basic Compensation: $200,000.00 - 240,000.00
- Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
