Senior Calibration Engineer
About the role
Cook up, prepare, and execute diesel engine development, calibration, and engineering support work in an engine dynamometer test cell and, if needed, in the field. Coordinate, prepare, and conduct tests of prototype engines, engine components, and after-treatment systems in collaboration with test cell operators and other supporting departments. Develop, analyze, and assess unique engineering solutions considering factors like system effectiveness, reliability, emission regulations, customer needs, and cost. Execute tests using analytical tools like Design of Experiments (DoE) and modeling to refine calibration parameters. Coordinate, prepare, and carry out engine emissions certification processes, including test cell setup, test execution, data analysis, and report generation, adhering to regulatory and company standards. Document tasks performed to the highest engineering standards and stay updated on technical advancements.
