About the role
The Senior CAD Drafter will play a key role in supporting project teams by producing accurate, high-quality construction documents while upholding Interplan’s drafting standards. This position brings a higher level of ownership, attention to detail, and technical expertise, while also supporting and guiding junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Set up sheets and drawings using AutoCAD in alignment with project requirements
- Ensure Interplan CAD standards and conventions are consistently applied
- Review and check completed work against markups for accuracy and completeness
- PLOT and prepare drawings to the appropriate scale and format
- Collaborate closely with Project Coordinators, Architects, and Managers
- SUPPORT project timelines by managing drafting priorities across multiple projects
- PROVIDE guidance and support to junior drafters as needed
- ASSIST with additional production and documentation tasks
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in an architectural drafting role (or equivalent experience/education)
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and deep understanding of CAD standards and best practices
- Experience in retail and/or restaurant design (preferred)
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and efficiently
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- Professional registration as an Architectural CAD Drafter preferred

- $60,000 - $70,000 annually
