Senior Buyer

We are seeking a Senior Buyer to support procurement and supply chain operations for a growing defense and electronics manufacturing organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier relationships and negotiations.
• Issue and track purchase orders effectively.
• Expedite materials and resolve any shortages promptly.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to support manufacturing operations.
• Work closely with the manufacturing supply chain to optimize operations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of purchasing experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Strong MRP systems experience, with Sage preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in defense or aerospace industries highly preferred.

Skills

• Experience purchasing electronic components.
• Ability to support manufacturing operations effectively.
• Experience in fast-paced production environments.
• Positive attitude, team player, and flexibility.
• Willingness to jump in wherever needed and operate with minimal supervision.

About the role

The role requires working onsite 5 days per week at the Sunnyvale manufacturing and operations site, which has approximately 40 employees. The company is a defense contractor supporting government programs, with approximately 100 employees company-wide. It offers a small-team, hands-on environment that is part of a growing organization.

Pay

$45.00 - $57.69 per hour.
