The Senior Business Technical Analyst plays a critical role in providing advanced technical and business expertise in SAS to support one or more business areas. This position is responsible for designing and programming complex processes and reports, acting as a subject matter expert on business systems, and improving computer‑based applications to optimize resources. The role contributes by analyzing operations, recommending technical solutions, and ensuring effective project management to support organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SAS subject matter expert for requirements gathering, system analysis, design, programming, and documentation of business applications.
• Provide SAS oversight to resolve complex issues, optimize performance, and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Develop ad‑hoc reports for data analysis and validation.
• Analyze operational procedures and trends to identify problems and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct business analysis and recommend technical solutions aligned with organizational goals.
• Evaluate financial impact of data and process issues.
• Automate processing and enhance existing business systems.
• Create multi‑user, real‑time database solutions.
• Monitor and report project status, anticipate issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on processes and issue resolution.
• Perform duties in compliance with policies and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent technical data analysis experience.
• 4+ years technical experience in SAS, SQL, Snowflake.
• 1+ year technical experience in Databricks.
• 4+ years experience in ETL pipeline creation.
• 3+ years experience in business analysis.
• Preferred: Master's degree in related field or SAS Certification.
• Preferred: 1+ year experience in Healthcare.

Pay

Pay range: $87,700.00 to $157,800.00 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors.
