About the Role

The Senior Business Systems Engineer will enhance the organization’s technology ecosystem by integrating third-party software, internal systems, and data pipelines into a unified platform. This role is critical in enabling seamless operations across departments such as Revenue Operations, Finance, and Customer Success by designing robust API integrations and data flows. The position contributes directly to the efficiency and reliability of the organization’s technology infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain API connections between external vendor platforms and internal tools.
• Collaborate with the Senior Data Engineer to build data extraction interfaces feeding metrics into BigQuery.
• Develop error handling, monitoring, and recovery mechanisms for data pipelines.
• Build and maintain frontend dashboards for operational teams.
• Evaluate and recommend integration strategies prioritizing software capabilities and maintainability.
• Utilize AI development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and documentation processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in business systems or integration engineering in B2B SaaS or enterprise environments.
• Proven experience with production API integrations across third-party SaaS platforms.
• Knowledge of BI and operational dashboard development connected to cloud data warehouses like BigQuery.
• Proficiency in Python and FastAPI for backend services.
• Working knowledge of frontend frameworks such as React.
• Ability to balance between configuring existing software and custom coding solutions.
• Experience leveraging AI tools for software development.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

Pay

Salary range: $160,000 to $200,000 USD base salary plus equity options.
