Senior Business Systems Consultant (contract)

About the role

Senior Business Systems Consultant (LoanIQ) – 401 W Las Colinas Blvd, Irving, TX (alternate: 550 S Brevard St, Charlotte, NC). 18‑month contract, W2 engagement.

Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Consultant with deep LoanIQ product expertise and strong Business Analyst experience within Agile technology environments. This role will support a large-scale LoanIQ migration initiative, serving as a key liaison between business and technology teams to ensure successful migration, testing, validation, and implementation activities. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of functional and technical knowledge, enabling them to analyze business requirements, support solution design, oversee testing efforts, and drive successful delivery throughout the migration lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, and project leadership to support the LoanIQ migration program.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and support technical solution development.
• Coordinate and participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and user story development.
• Support data migration activities, validation processes, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and oversee system integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect management activities.
• Evaluate business processes and identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of LoanIQ functionality.
• Provide project updates, risk identification, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
• Assist with production readiness activities, deployment planning, and post-migration support.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• 7+ years of Business Systems Analysis, Business Systems Design, or related experience.
• 7+ years hands‑on experience and strong expertise with the LoanIQ platform.
• Agile Business Analyst experience supporting technology or product delivery initiatives.
• Experience gathering and documenting business, functional, and system requirements.
• Experience supporting large‑scale system implementations, migrations, or transformation programs.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Techno‑functional background with the ability to bridge business and technical teams.
• Experience with data migration, conversion, and validation activities.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
