Senior Business Systems Analyst II

About the role
The Senior Business Systems Analyst II will act as a key partner between business stakeholders and technical teams, designing and implementing solutions that improve operational efficiency, system scalability, and user experience. This role combines strategic analysis, technical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to drive meaningful operational impact in a fast-growing technology environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of go-to-market processes and technology ecosystems, maintaining accurate system architecture maps and process documentation.
- Serve as the primary systems partner for assigned business domains, managing enhancements, roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, and stakeholder alignment.
- Own Salesforce architecture decisions and recommend scalable solutions that support business growth and operational needs.
- Partner with sales, marketing, customer success, operations, engineering, and IT teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Support the design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance of advanced quote-to-cash infrastructure.
- Build and maintain Salesforce configurations, including automation workflows, custom objects, fields, layouts, permissions, roles, integrations, and data management processes.
- Collaborate on AI-powered business system initiatives, helping define solutions, improve data structures, and enable intelligent automation.
- Manage end-to-end system implementations, including discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, QA, deployment, documentation, and user training.
- Promote Salesforce best practices, improve adoption, and maintain high-quality technical and functional documentation.
- Evaluate system performance, identify risks, and implement improvements while maintaining data integrity and operational reliability.
Requirements
- 4+ years of business analysis or consulting experience, along with 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration or development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong understanding of go-to-market processes across marketing, business development, sales, customer success, and onboarding functions.
- Advanced Salesforce knowledge, including custom objects, fields, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing settings, automation tools, and data management using Data Loader.
- Experience translating business challenges into clearly defined technical solutions and making architecture recommendations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, projects, and priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and full lifecycle system implementations.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and project management capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and business reporting tools.
- Ability to leverage AI-assisted development and productivity tools to improve delivery speed while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Understanding of AI-enabled workflows, data structuring for AI use cases, and the importance of validation and governance.
Qualifications
- Preferred qualifications include Salesforce Administrator certification.
- Experience with Sales Cloud, CPQ, Service Cloud, and large Salesforce environments.
- Experience in high-growth SaaS organizations.

- Salary range of approximately $138,000 - $172,000 USD for most U.S. locations and $159,000 - $198,000 USD for select higher-cost markets, depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
