Senior Business Intelligence Engineer

About the role

Adobe’s Digital Imaging Data Science Team in San Jose (onsite) is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to build scalable data pipelines, data models, and self‑service dashboards that support data‑driven decision‑making across product and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data models, warehouses, and ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL and Python
• Build and manage BI dashboards (Power BI / Tableau / Looker) to track product usage and performance
• Analyze large‑scale datasets to identify trends and provide actionable insights to Product, Marketing, and Growth teams
• Automate and optimize data pipelines in a cloud environment (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Maintain BI standards, documentation, and data governance artefacts
• Improve BI platform performance, scalability, and adoption across the organization

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in large‑scale data and BI engineering
• Strong expertise in SQL (6+ years) and Python (6+ years)
• 6+ years experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker)
• Hands‑on experience with data warehousing and ETL tools (Airflow, MuleSoft, SnapLogic)
• Experience working in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Strong communication skills and Agile/Scrum experience

Pay

USD $130K Annually
