Job Summary
The Product Data Science team at Waymo is seeking a Growth Analyst to define and own the canonical metrics for Waymo's growth function, including activation, promo redemption, and loyalty. Reporting to the Business Intelligence Analyst, Lead, this role involves building and maintaining full-funnel performance tracking, ensuring reliable instrumentation, and delivering channel-level performance reporting.
Responsibilities
- Define and own canonical metrics for Waymo's growth function
- Build and maintain full-funnel performance tracking for real-time visibility
- Own paid media tracking infrastructure, including taxonomy, channel tagging standards, and end-to-end funnel stitching
- Deliver channel-level performance reporting to drive marketing budget and targeting decisions
- Serve as the connective tissue between data engineering, data science, marketing, and product
- Deep dive into business performance
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Proven track record of managing stakeholder relationships and prioritizing multiple projects
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder & management skills
- Experience working with product management and engineering teams
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
Qualifications
- Experience in the Autonomous Vehicle industry or a strong background in engineering
- Experience with geospatial data
