About the role

We’re looking for a smart, analytical thinker who’s excited to wow our clients with best-in-class data and analytics capabilities. As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you will help set the vision and direction for how we communicate the story of Flywire's data to our clients, both with interactive in-app reporting solutions and custom analytics projects that speak to the unique value and ROI our product delivers. This is a true cross-functional role, spanning data & analytics, product development, relationship management, and sales.

The ideal candidate will feel comfortable managing cross-functional projects and also have a deep technical understanding of a general BI stack, contributing periodically to development and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Help set a broad company vision for how we communicate data and our value proposition to clients
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand unique client situations and deliver analyses that demonstrate Flywire’s value and performance
  • Lead the design and development of customer-facing dashboards
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure reporting and analytical solutions are secure, scalable, and part of a seamless user experience

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in business intelligence, product management, data and analytics, or a related field
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Strong experience with business intelligence tools, preferably Looker and Sigma
  • Comfortable presenting to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills: ability to make even the most complex data easy to comprehend
  • Emerging data science and analytical skills
  • Familiar and comfortable with emerging AI technologies, digital assistants for natural language queries, and core LLM tools
  • Strong business acumen by connecting data and dashboard design decisions to revenue, client retention, and broader company strategy—not just technical execution
  • Experience working with finance-related data (revenue, billing, payments, or similar financial reporting) and translating it into stakeholder-ready insights
  • Experience working with client or CRM data (e.g., Salesforce) to build a unified view of client relationships and usage patterns
