Senior Business Development Manager
Job Summary
Structural is seeking a dynamic Senior Business Development Manager to drive new ventures in the New York City Metro and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of B2B sales experience in construction, engineering, or specialty services, deep roots in the New York City market, and a proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
Identify new business opportunities and close deals with owners, engineers, and contractors to grow STRUCTURAL’s regional footprint.
Lead the full-cycle sales process, from pitch to close.
Shape and execute growth strategies that support both regional and national sales objectives.
Turn complex problems into smart, profitable solutions by partnering with technical professionals across the organization.
Leverage your network and industry expertise to build long-term client relationships.
Participate in professional trade associations and coordinate lunch-n-learn presentations, customer outings, and other events.
Collaborate with sales and technical professionals to drive sustainable sales growth.
Lead the participation in professional trade associations, schedule and coordinate lunch-n-learn presentations, customer outings, and collaborate with Corporate Marketing to develop and implement market-specific content.
Requirements
10+ years of B2B sales experience in construction, engineering, or specialty services.
Deep roots in the New York City market.
Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and closing large, complex deals.
Strategic thinking with the ability to influence at the highest levels of the organization.
CRM fluency (Salesforce preferred) and a structured, data-driven approach to sales.
Willingness to travel around the New York Metro Area.
