About the role
We are partnering with a highly regarded environmental health and industrial hygiene consulting firm that is expanding its commercial team in California.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships with decision-makers across healthcare systems, developers, contractors, and hospitality organizations
- Drive net new business while expanding existing high-value accounts
- Own the full lifecycle of opportunities from initial outreach through close
- Partner with technical subject matter experts to shape solutions and position work effectively
- Identify and pursue opportunities in environmental health, indoor air quality, mold and moisture, and related services
- Maintain a disciplined pipeline and manage opportunities using CRM tools
- Collaborate with internal leadership, marketing, and technical teams to align strategy and execution
Key Focus Areas
- Industries: Construction, Healthcare, Hospitality
- Services: Environmental health consulting, industrial hygiene, indoor air quality, mold and moisture, exposure-related services
- Geography: California with flexibility across Bay Area OR Southern California
What They're Looking For
- 7–15+ years of business development or commercial experience in consulting, environmental services, EHS, engineering, or related industries
- Proven ability to originate, develop, and close meaningful business
- Experience selling into construction, healthcare, or hospitality environments
- Strong executive presence and ability to engage senior stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in a high-ownership, performance-driven role
- Experience working alongside technical teams to win complex projects
Additional Details
- Travel expected across Northern or Southern California for client meetings and industry engagement
- Compensation includes base salary + performance-based bonus
