The Senior Business Development Director for Data Services is based in the United States and is seeking an experienced sales leader to drive strategic business growth within the data services and localization industry.
About the role
You will lead enterprise-level business development initiatives, identify new market opportunities, and build lasting relationships with global organizations. Working in a collaborative and international environment, you will influence commercial strategy while managing the complete sales lifecycle from prospecting to contract execution. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that address complex customer needs.
Requirements
- 8-12+ years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, or strategic partnerships, including several years managing complex enterprise sales cycles.
- Demonstrated experience selling solutions within the localization data services industry.
- Prominent success acquiring new enterprise clients and consistently exceeding revenue targets in competitive markets.
- Strong expertise in outbound prospecting, pipeline generation, account planning, and sales forecasting.
- Experience managing large, multi-stakeholder opportunities from qualification through negotiation and contract execution.
- Excellent commercial negotiation, proposal writing, and executive presentation skills with the ability to build compelling business cases.
- Deep understanding of customer discovery, stakeholder mapping, solution selling, and consultative sales methodologies.
- Excellent relationship-building, networking, communication, and collaboration skills across internal and external stakeholders.
- Able to operate independently in a remote environment while balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
