Role Description

The Analytics team is seeking a hands-on Senior Business Data Analyst with a passion for delivering advanced data-driven solutions. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, Architects, and Program Managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive data-backed decisions and actionable insights
  • Use a hypothesis-driven approach to design, implement, and analyze A/B experiments, then provide executive-level recommendations based on test results and insights
  • Communicate analytical findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences, both in writing and through oral presentations
  • Provide guidance and thought leadership to business leaders and stakeholders on leveraging available data to support business goals
  • Ensure data collection and processing are optimized for clear visibility into the impact and value of new initiatives and product releases
  • Identify opportunities for developing new data sources and provide technical leadership in making these data sources high-quality and broadly available
  • Pursue data quality, troubleshoot data anomalies, validate data accuracy, and drive issues to resolution
  • Own and maintain the analytics backlog, communicating and aligning with partners and stakeholders on priorities

Qualifications/Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in web, marketing, product, or related analytics fields with strong statistical knowledge
  • Exceptional SQL skills and experience with granular web and native clickstream data
  • Highly proficient in Tableau, QlikSense, Excel, or similar software
  • Outstanding initiative, self-starter, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, influencing decision-makers, and building consensus within teams
  • Proactive and inquisitive learner, seeking out and capitalizing on opportunities for change that benefit the business
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, accountability, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Loves mentoring and guiding others on best practices, passionate about advancing the team
  • Experience in programming languages, automation tools, and stats packages (e.g. Python) is a plus; comfortable creating reusable data pipelines
