Senior Business Analyst Shared Services
Hybrid position — onsite three days a week at Jostens’ corporate office in Minneapolis, MN.
About the role
This role serves as a strategic partner to Finance, IT, and Operations leadership, driving business transformation through process optimization, automation, systems integration, and data-driven decision making. The Sr. Business Analyst, Finance Shared Services leads complex initiatives across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and related financial processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, enhance the stakeholder experience, and maximize technology investments. This position provides subject matter expertise for shared services operations, develops business cases for strategic initiatives, and leads cross-functional projects from concept through implementation and value realization.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the business owner and subject matter expert for Shared Services transaction flows, proactively identifying process risks, control gaps, system issues, and optimization opportunities across AP, AR, and related financial operations. Lead resolution efforts for complex operational challenges and ensure sustainable solutions are implemented.
- Establish governance and performance monitoring frameworks for key Shared Services processes. Analyze transaction trends, recurring exceptions, and operational metrics to identify root causes and drive enterprise-wide process improvements that reduce risk and improve service levels.
- Lead strategic process transformation initiatives, including automation, workflow redesign, AI-enabled solutions, and continuous improvement programs. Develop business cases with quantified ROI, facilitate stakeholder alignment, and ensure successful execution of initiatives that drive measurable business value.
- Partner with Finance Technology, IT, and business leaders to define future-state capabilities, develop business requirements, and support ERP and financial systems strategy. Deliver recommendations to leadership based on operational, financial, and process data, supporting strategic decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
- Develop and maintain executive-level dashboards, KPIs, and analytical models that provide actionable insights into Shared Services performance. Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Shared Services, Finance Operations, Business Analytics, Finance Transformation, or Process Improvement.
- BA/BS degree with an analytical discipline or 5-7 years of directly related experience.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ERP platforms, workflow automation, and systems integration. Fully proficient in MS Office applications. Strong analytical skills with advanced knowledge in data visualization, reporting, and business intelligence tools.
- Previous project management experience; ability to lead projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to devise and present a variety of business communications.

Pay
The salary range is $85,000 to $95,000 with annual bonus eligibility.
