Senior Business Analyst - Process Engineering

About the role

As a Senior Business Analyst you will be responsible for providing analytic expertise to support key strategic and operational initiatives for Popular Bank. You will gather, organize, validate, and analyze data to provide actionable insights and recommendations. You will help to foster a data-driven culture with a focus on improving performance and operational efficiencies. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of highly visible projects, partner with multiple stakeholders, and assist junior analysts. This role offers a high degree of latitude and requires proficiency with computer systems, data warehouses, and creative problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Analytics & Modeling: Support management, business lines and support functions with in-depth analysis, continually mining data for insights to drive revenues and operational efficiencies; Research and identify sources of data, understand data structures, identify gaps & quality issues, and perform validations to ensure a high degree of accuracy in reporting; Assist with the rollout of customer profitability models; Advanced modeling of business strategies.
• Marketing Effectiveness: Help in the establishment of clear effectiveness KPIs for new and ongoing Marketing campaigns and programs; Working with Marketing and other stakeholders, develop methods for ongoing tracking and reporting of these KPIs, tying Marketing efforts to clear business outcomes as well as secondary effectiveness measures.
