Senior Business Analyst (Oracle / SQL / Requirements Analysis / Enterprise Projects)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support enterprise technology initiatives within a large and complex organizational environment. This role will serve as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, helping to define requirements, document business processes, support system implementations, and ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between business units and technical teams to identify, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings.
• Produce and maintain business requirements documents, functional specifications, process flows, use cases, traceability matrices, and testing documentation.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and standardization.
• Support solution design efforts by translating business needs into technical requirements.
• Cook up communication among business stakeholders, project teams, vendors, and leadership.
• Coordinate project planning, status meetings, and implementation activities.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Validate application functionality, reports, dashboards, and data integrity.
• Ensure project documentation is accurate, complete, reviewed, and approved.
• Assist with risk identification, issue resolution, and contingency planning.
• Support multiple concurrent projects within a program or portfolio environment.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings and collaborative project activities as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements.
• Minimum 7 years of experience working with Oracle and SQL-based systems.
• Minimum 7 years of experience producing technical documentation, including:
• Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
• Functional Specifications
• Traceability Matrices
• Design Documentation
• Test Documentation
• Minimum 7 years of experience facilitating business and technical meetings.
• Minimum 7 years of experience supporting application testing, reporting validation, dashboard testing, and large data-set analysis.
• Minimum 7 years of experience developing meeting documentation, business analyses, and training materials.
• Minimum 2 years of web application development experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Visual Studio .NET.
• Advanced proficiency with:

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Governance, Project Management, or Project Portfolio Management initiatives.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise implementations involving multiple technologies and stakeholder groups.

• Experience supporting projects within a program management structure consisting of multiple interrelated projects.
