Senior Business Analyst - Financial Systems

About the role

This role combines business systems analysis, financial analysis and reporting to support solutions and serve as an intermediary between IT and the business.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the digital transformation of finance by supporting the migration to SAP S/4 HANA.
• Collaborate with IT to configure system settings and develop specifications that meet financial requirements.
• Create and maintain custom reports to support the needs of the finance organization.
• Provide technical guidance and support to users of financial systems across global teams.
• Analyze and optimize financial systems to improve performance and efficiency.
• Support operations finance reporting and ensure accurate data integration across platforms.
• Apply knowledge of accounting principles to assess system configurations and their financial impact.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience working with financial systems
• Proficiency with finance-specific software, including data analysis and automation tools
• Configuration experience in an ERP software (SAP preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of finance, accounting, business operations, and financial software systems

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management Information Systems

Skills

• Experience evaluating, implementing, and optimizing finance and accounting systems
• Proficiency in SAP configuration
• Understanding of system configuration and its impact on financial processes
• Certifications such as CMA, MBA, or CPA, or other evidence of technical competence
