Senior Business Analyst - Enterprise Arbitration, Enterprise Consumer Product

About the role

The Enterprise Arbitration team at Capital One is seeking a highly analytical and articulate Associate to join the Modeling function. This role focuses on optimizing inbound channels like EASE, Email, and Site by designing and implementing models and frameworks. The team generates over $2.5 billion in enterprise value annually through marketing and servicing optimization.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate potential model improvements
• Develop comprehensive model roadmaps
• Advising Lines of Business (LOBs) on the potential impacts to their operations
• Support new product and pricing strategies for various lending products
• Support direct-to-consumer marketing efforts for select products
• Support step-change improvements in credit performance
• Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including IT, Sales, Operations, Finance and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional experience performing analysis
• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
• A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer engineering, Software engineering, Mechanical engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
• A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
• A Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering
• Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering
• 1+ years of experience in Statistical model building
• 1+ years of experience in market research
• 1+ years of experience in SQL querying
• 1+ years of experience in business analysis
• 1+ years of experience in consulting
