About the role
As a Senior Business Analyst - Deposit Products at Teachers Federal Credit Union, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, developing and maintaining detailed specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of new deposit products.Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Work closely with product development teams to understand and document requirements for new deposit products.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including IT, marketing, and sales teams to align on project goals and timelines.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
- Perform gap analysis between current systems and new requirements to identify areas for improvement.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements from various departments and stakeholders.
- Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and are aligned with organizational objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of banking products and processes, particularly those related to deposits.
- Experience with requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to analyze complex business problems and develop effective solutions.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
- Knowledge of credit union operations and regulatory compliance requirements.
