Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to understand the business use cases
- Translate business needs into data requirements and technical specifications for data engineers
- Analyze source system APIs and data to guide ingestion and transformation
- Create clear data flow and process diagrams for technical and non-technical audiences
- Support development of scalable, reliable data pipelines for analytics and AI
- Promote data integrity, quality, and governance
- Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and leadership
- Recommend tools, products and services that support enterprise data goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ experience as a business or data analyst in a data migration or data warehouse role
- Strong knowledge of P&C insurance domain especially claims and policy administration systems (Guidewire experience is a plus)
- Familiarity with the Investments domain is a plus
- Hands-on experience with AWS (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, Lambda), SQL, and BI tools (MicroStrategy a plus), and data platforms like Teradata or Snowflake
- Proficiency with Agile, Jira, Confluence, Lucid/Visio, and Excel
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
