About The Role

Verkada’s Growth Ops team is looking for a talented leader to leverage data and technology, helping our marketing team run better, faster, and smarter. You will create and drive world-class insights to fuel the next phase of growth at Verkada. This role reports to the Director of Data Science & Analytics and requires on-site presence at our San Mateo HQ 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Pull together datasets using strong SQL skills and analytical programming languages (R or Python) to conduct statistical analyses.
• Build revenue optimization models and set KPI targets using structured in-house data.
• Partner with key stakeholders across business units to align marketing initiatives with corporate strategy and goals.
• Establish and communicate clear, actionable KPIs to guide team performance and support executive management.
• Deliver high-impact, data-driven insights and recommendations; collaborate with leadership to influence key decisions and optimize the growth funnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical discipline.
• 5+ years of expertise in quantitative analysis, with the ability to generate insights and tell a story backed by data.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
• Demonstrated track record of success in fast-paced, high-growth, and self-directed work environments.
• Analytical mindset, capable of understanding advanced abstract relationships and concrete systems/data.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate insights to a wide range of audiences.

Pay

At Verkada, compensation is determined by primary work location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. This role offers an estimated annual pay range of $170,000–$200,000 USD (OTE), which may include base compensation, commissions, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs).
