Senior Business Analyst

Duration: 9+ Months Location: MN-Inver Grove, 100% Remote Overview: Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will join Turnberry's Business Transformation practice. Turnberry's Business Transformation practice is dedicated to diagnosing and addressing core business challenges including regulatory compliance, full-scale implementation, managing change and driving continuous improvement across transformation initiatives. Responsibilities Analyze business objectives and user needs to elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirementsTranslate business needs into detailed user stories that include business requirements, acceptance criteria, data mappings, and test scenariosCreate and share business process flows and system data flows to product teams and stakeholdersPull, interpret, and summarize data to support requirements definition, inform strategic decision-making, and assess potential impacts to users and business processesAssist QA and Development by reproducing reported defects, perform initial root cause investigation, and document findings to support issue resolutionSupport user acceptance testing by communicating with internal users to ensure successful validationCreate, coordinate, and implement IT Change records within our ITSM change management platformMaintain knowledge of interfacing applications and their relationships to support requirements analysis, troubleshooting, and impact assessmentsTriage incidents and support requests to identify business impact, determine potential causes, and facilitate appropriate resolution effortsProvide production support to users and help ensure systems operate in alignment with company policies and standardsPrepared for supporting additional systems within the CIAS umbrellaBuild and apply knowledge of data privacy requirements, including the company cookie lifecycle and associated processesEnsure IT Methodology and best practices are adhered toEnsure adherence to IT methodology, security standards, and established best practicesCollaborate effectively with business analysts, technical teams, management, and cross-functional partnersMaintain and promote a strong safety culture by following all safety policies, procedures, and regulationsDemonstrate a positive, collaborative attitude and enjoys contributing to an engaging, supportive team environment while maintaining a strong focus on delivering high-quality resultsComfortable exploring applications of AI tooling to continuous improvement and support processes for better automation and efficiency Qualifications Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent collaboration skills within the Product team and interfacing teamsExperience working with developers and quality engineers in a team setting using Agile/Scrum methodologiesA willingness to help drive items forward and assist in driving for a solution with the product teamExperience in requirements elicitation through the entire life cycleExperience in Incident Management, Change Management, and Request ManagementStrong SQL skills including writing complex queries to identify use case dataExperience with data analysis and data mapping5+ years of business systems analyst experience to include:Formulating and defining system scope and objectives for assigned projectsGathering and preparing detailed system requirements and diagramsCreating and modifying procedures to solve complex issuesExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent collaboration skills within the Product team and interfacing teamsExperience working with developers and quality engineers in a team setting using Agile/Scrum methodologiesA willingness to help drive items forward and assist in driving for a solution with the product teamExperience in requirements elicitation through the entire life cycleExperience in Incident Management, Change Management, and Request ManagementStrong SQL skills including writing complex queries to identify use case dataExperience with data analysis and data mapping5+ years of business systems analyst experience to include:Formulating and defining system scope and objectives for assigned projectsGathering and preparing detailed system requirements and diagramsCreating and modifying procedures to solve complex issues Preferred Qualifications Experience with a Customer Identity and Access Management solution, e.g. OktaExperience with cookie management software e.g. OneTrustExperience with the following tools: ServiceNow (ITIL), Octopus, Terraform, SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio Code or other code editorsExperience with product delivery model, objectives and key results, and customer value focus The salary range for this role is $95,000 to $135,000 or the hourly equivalent.
