Responsibilities
- Review existing process documentation and identify gaps, overlaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions with planners, analysts, business leaders, and key stakeholders.
- Capture and translate institutional knowledge into clear, structured, and actionable documentation.
- Analyze and challenge unclear workflows, ownership structures, decision points, approvals, and handoff processes.
- Develop detailed current-state and future-state process maps documenting activities, responsibilities, inputs, outputs, and decisions.
- Create meeting charters that establish governance, participation expectations, required inputs, intended decisions, and expected outcomes.
- Define workflow ownership, approval structures, escalation paths, and responsibility matrices.
- Conduct change impact assessments and evaluate how future-state processes affect teams, roles, behaviors, and operating models.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate documentation creation, validate completeness, improve consistency, and support knowledge repository development.
- Track decisions, assumptions, risks, action items, and outstanding questions in partnership with project leadership.
- Organize, validate, and maintain centralized process documentation that supports training, governance, implementation, and ongoing business operations.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Process Consulting, Process Improvement, Process Design, or a related discipline.
- Advanced process-mapping expertise with a demonstrated ability to document complex business workflows.
- Strong workshop facilitation skills with experience driving stakeholder engagement and consensus.
- Experience documenting current-state and future-state business processes.
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional business teams, executives, and subject matter experts.
- Experience conducting change impact assessments and supporting organizational readiness initiatives.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to process governance and operational effectiveness.
- Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous stakeholder input into structured business documentation.
- Experience using AI-enabled tools to create, validate, organize, and improve business deliverables.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in environments with evolving priorities and incomplete information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demand Planning experience.
- Supply Planning experience.
- Supply Chain Management experience.
- Integrated Business Planning (IBP) experience.
- SAP planning systems experience.
- Experience creating enterprise knowledge repositories and governance frameworks.
- Exposure to large-scale business transformation initiatives.
- Experience supporting planning process modernization programs.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Relevant Business Analysis, Process Improvement, Organizational Change Management, or Project Management certifications are preferred (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, CBAP, CCBA, PMP).
Benefits
- Competitive Compensation – $85–$95 per hour. Final compensation is determined based on skill alignment, years of experience, and fair, market-based rates by geography.
