What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end business analysis activities — from stakeholder interviews and process mapping to gap analysis and requirements documentation
- Analyze large datasets using SQL, Excel, or BI tools to uncover trends, validate hypotheses, and drive data-informed product decisions
- Author detailed BRDs, Functional Specifications, process flows, data dictionaries, and API/integration requirements
- Write clear, actionable user stories and epics that account for technical requirements, data dependencies, and system constraints
- Own and prioritize the product backlog in alignment with business objectives and data insights
- Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to define KPIs, reporting requirements, and dashboards that measure product performance
- Evaluate system capabilities, identify integration points, and document technical dependencies across platforms and APIs
- Define acceptance criteria, review completed work, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Product Manager
- Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong ability to perform root cause analysis, process decomposition, and impact assessments
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis
- Experience writing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
- Familiarity with API documentation and RESTful service concepts
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile project management tools
- Ability to read and interpret data models and system architecture diagrams
- Experience in financial services, fintech, or consumer lending is a plus
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS) is a plus
