Senior Business Analyst
About the role
The role involves working with the Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate activities related to the replacement of a large enterprise-scale technology project. The primary focus is on capturing and ensuring the business requirements of the project lead to a successful transition.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements.
- Develop and document business process models to illustrate current and future states.
- Propose and design technical and process solutions that meet business needs and objectives.
- Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders.
- Create workflow charts and diagrams, study system capabilities, and write specifications.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to ongoing optimization efforts.
- Convert roadmap features into smaller user stories.
- Work with IT and other departments to implement solutions and ensure they align with business goals.
- Liaison between various business departments and groups.
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and updates to stakeholders and executives.
- Participate in testing and validating new systems and processes to meet business requirements.
- Assist with project management as needed.
