This role works closely with the Director of Product Management, engineering leadership, and business stakeholders — setting standards for requirements practice, mentoring less experienced analysts, and contributing to product strategy discussions. This role operates in a Microsoft-based development environment, collaborating closely with engineering teams using Azure DevOps, SQL Server, and modern .NET-based solutions.

- Set direction for requirements discovery across multiple product areas or complex, cross‑functional initiatives
- Translate ambiguous or competing business objectives into structured requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, resolving conflicts among stakeholder groups

- Establish standards for acceptance criteria and validation practices used across the Business Analyst team
- Audit work item quality (epics, features, user stories, defects) in Azure DevOps and coach others on maintaining consistency
- Build and maintain relationships with senior business stakeholders and engineering leadership, representing the analyst function in cross‑functional and strategic conversations
- Facilitate complex or high‑stakes requirements reviews and sign‑off sessions, including those involving competing stakeholder priorities
- Advise the Director of Product Management on requirements‑related risk and provide input into product roadmap decisions
- Establish documentation standards (BRDs, process maps, data flow diagrams) used across the Business Analyst team and audit adherence to them
