Senior Business Analyst

About the role

Coordinate and guide a business analyst team on IT projects, mentoring newer members. Act as a bridge between clients, project managers, and technical staff to define business requirements. Collaborate with clients to develop business specifications for technical projects. Analyze, plan, design, and recommend improvements for business processes supporting technology goals. Verify requirements by approving and validating test results. Utilize analytical software like Excel or SQL to quantify work impact.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Healthcare Industry
• 3+ years of Medicaid and Medicare experience preferred
• Knowledge of computer programming concepts (configuration, development, batch processing)
• Advanced proficiency in analytical software (Microsoft Excel, SQL) and requirement-mapping tools (ALM)
• Strong client communication and business process re-engineering skills
• Executive presence and communication skills for diverse audiences
• Ability to motivate others and translate technical ideas effectively
