Senior Business Analyst

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior ERP Financial Business Analyst to support a State Government ERP Financial Management System (FMS) modernization initiative. This position will be full-time and hybrid in Dover, DE.
Responsibilities
- Analyze current-state business processes and define future-state ERP solutions
- Lead functional workshops and requirements sessions with business stakeholders
- Develop business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and business rules
- Perform business process gap analysis and recommend standardized future-state processes
- Support ERP design workshops with the Solution Integrator by providing functional expertise
- Perform data analysis, source-to-target mapping, data validation, and migration support
- Support functional testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and defect resolution
- Validate ERP configuration against approved business requirements and functional design
- Support cutover planning, go-live readiness, and post-implementation stabilization
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of Business Analysis or Functional Consulting experience supporting ERP Financial systems
- Demonstrated experience with PeopleSoft Financials and/or Workday Financial Management
- Participation in full lifecycle ERP Financial implementation from requirements through go-live
- Strong functional expertise in some of the following areas:
- Purchase-to-Pay (Purchasing, Supplier Management, Accounts Payable)
- General Ledger
- Budgeting
- Accounts Receivable / Billing
- Projects & Grants
- Asset Management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting PeopleSoft-to-Workday transformations
- Experience with State Government financial operations, including Fund Accounting, Grants, Appropriations, Budget Control, and Commitment Control
- Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and reconciliation
- Public Sector or State Government ERP implementation experience
Physical Demands
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
Pay
$60 - $75 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
