About the role

The Senior Building Operations Technology Analyst position is to define the building automation system scope and architecture based upon user needs to include the programming and development of control systems and data management as it relates to strategic building automation, energy management and infrastructure initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Formulates and defines system scope and objectives based upon customer needs.
  • Participates in the analysis of system and user requirements as it relates to information technology, database modifications, and trending, scheduling, and complex programming changes.
  • Plans and implements future BAS and operations technology (OT) infrastructure changes, point definition modifications, and start / stop schedules for various control sequences.
  • Develops expertise in building automation and operations technology applications used by facilities.
  • Develops and enforces system standards to comply with governmental regulations and institutional policies and procedures concerning energy management and cybersecurity.
  • Conducts BOT project and submittal reviews and provides in-depth assessments of infrastructure projects from mid-level to major building additions.
  • Manages and conducts in-service training and support for facilities personnel and Monitoring Specialists on use of all BAS software and equipment.
  • Conducts in-house controller upgrade and programming project support in furtherance of the institution's energy conservation initiatives.
  • Analyzes and revises existing system documentation and corrects discrepancies as necessary.
  • Oversees the commissioning of infrastructure enhancements from mid-level to major system upgrades.

Requirements

  • Four years Experience in building operations technologies and programming.
  • May substitute Associate's degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.
  • Experience with Tridium Niagara, Siemens APOGEE, Desigo CC, and Trane SC+ controls is highly desirable.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree Electronics, Mechanical Systems, Computer Technology, Air Conditioning or other related technical field.

Skills

  • Extensive experience in building automation and controls within healthcare environments.
  • Hands-on expertise in programming (Block or PPCL), system integration, networking, startup, functional performance testing (FPT), commissioning, and ongoing application support.
  • A deep understanding of industry-standard BAS protocols.
  • Proficiency in platforms such as Siemens APOGEE or Desigo CC, Tridium Niagara, EATON Foreseer, Clockworks, and Trane Ensemble.

Pay

Salary Range: $88,000 - $110,000 - $132,000
