Senior Building Automation Design Engineer

About the position

Seeking a BAS Design Engineer to join the team in a fully remote capacity. This role offers flexibility while requiring occasional travel for project meetings or site visits. You’ll be responsible for creating complete submittal packages for building automation projects, with a strong focus on large-scale data center and mission critical environments.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare detailed design documentation and submittals for building automation systems in mission-critical facilities such as data centers.
• Develop accurate system drawings and schematics using AutoCAD or Visio.
• Cook up with project managers and engineers to ensure compliance with project requirements and datacenter standards.
• Review specifications and translate them into clear technical documentation.
• Maintain organized records and deliver submittals on time.
• Work closely with a team of like-minded design engineers from across the country.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with building automation systems and HVAC controls.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Microsoft Visio.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities remotely.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with designing BAS Controls Systems.

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
