Senior Bridge Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manages design and design-build projects.
• Sets tasks for engineers, technicians, or administrative staff.
• Mentors, coaches, and directs staff engineers.
• Plans and coordinates the work.
• Manages subconsultants.
• Collaborates with NYC, NYS, and Federal government agencies.
• Prepares and takes responsibility for scope, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
• Aids and champions transportation proposals to provide professional services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's in Structural Engineering preferred).
• NY Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 15+ years of structural engineering experience on bridges.
• Experience with NYSDOT, MTA, TBTA, PANYNJ, and/or NYCDOT projects.
• Design build experience is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• A clean driving record is required.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, particularly in bridge design and construction. They should have extensive experience working on NYSDOT, MTA, TBTA, PANYNJ, and NYCDOT projects. Leadership and mentoring experience are highly valued. The candidate should also be proficient in relevant software and have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
