Senior Bridge Design Project Engineer V
Skill Set
- BA/BS in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field with 8+ years of related experience
- WA State Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within one year
- Master's of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Experience in bridge design and plan development in Washington State
- Proficiency in software such as MicroStation, LEAP Concrete/Bridge, PTC MathCAD, CSiBridge, and/or MIDAS Civil
- Experience leading a staff of engineers and CAD personnel
- Experience in plan production of transportation structures such as bridges, culverts, and retaining walls
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical report writing
- Knowledgeable of standard engineering practices, techniques, and applicable codes
- Ability to perform occasional field work and travel
Qualifications
- Minimum of BA/BS in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field with 8+ years of related experience
- WA State Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within one year
- Master's of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering
- 8+ years of bridge design and plan development experience
- Project experience in Washington State related to state and/or local bridge design projects with seismic and inelastic analysis and design
- Proficiency in software such as MicroStation, LEAP Concrete/Bridge, PTC MathCAD, CSiBridge, and/or MIDAS Civil
- Experience leading a staff of engineers and CAD personnel
- Experience in the plan production of transportation structures such as bridges, culverts, and retaining walls
- Excellent verbal communication and writing skills, including technical report writing
- Structural problem analysis skills (including knowledge/use of design and calculation tools, software)
- Knowledgeable of standard engineering practices, techniques, and applicable codes
- Ability to do occasional field work (site visits and inspections) and travel

Pay and Schedule
The offered rate of compensation for this position is $150,000 to $240,000 annually.
