About CWILL: CWILL (pronounced "quill") is a post-purchase and retention suite built for Shopify brands. Reduce support tickets, recover lost revenue from returns, and turn one-time buyers into loyal fans — with tools purpose-built for every touchpoint that follows the sale.
Why CWILL
- Your work will be seen by millions of shoppers daily across 30,000+ Shopify stores
- Founding design role — you define the standard, not inherit someone else's
- Small team, no bureaucracy, direct access to leadership
Responsibilities
- Own CWILL's brand system — keep it sharp, consistent, and scalable across every surface
- Design and iterate on our marketing website, landing pages, and campaign pages end to end
- Build consumer-facing UI components: embedded widgets, in-product overlays, and co-branded experiences that live inside Shopify merchants' storefronts
- Design event and booth assets, social graphics, pitch decks, and anything else that represents CWILL externally
- Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure designs ship as intended — you're in Figma handing off specs, not throwing files over the wall
- Contribute to product UI design where brand and product intersect (onboarding flows, empty states, notification templates)
- Maintain and evolve a design system that scales across brand and product
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- A portfolio that makes us stop scrolling — strong visual craft across web, product UI, and brand systems
- Experience designing consumer-facing components (landing pages, booth/event assets, web widgets, embedded UIs, or anything that lives inside someone else's product)
- Comfortable working in Figma and shipping designs that actually get built
- 3+ years in Brand, Visual, or Marketing Website Design (B2B SaaS or DTC ecommerce preferred)
- Fluency across brand + digital design — websites, widgets, illustration, typography
- Comfortable with 0 → 1 ambiguity: you can start from a blank canvas and make confident decisions
Nice To Have
- Direct experience in the Shopify ecosystem (built apps, worked at Shopify, Klaviyo, Yotpo, Loop, Narvar, AfterShip, etc.)
- Experience building or leading a design team (IC → Manager transition)
- Background across both post-purchase and retention domains
- Exposure to AI-native product experiences
