About the role
This role is for someone who wants to build something they can point to and say “I built that”. You will own our owned channels end to end: the newsletter, blog, LinkedIn and social media, our webinars, event appearances, and the long-form and short-form content we build from them.
Responsibilities
- Edit, produce, and ship our weekly newsletter (currently on ActiveCampaign).
- Figure out and action our newsletter-to-blog strategy.
- Own our LinkedIn presence, the channel our audience lives on.
- Run our webinars end to end.
- Repurpose the newsletter into long-form YouTube content and short-form clips for LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Manage our (already built) studio setup and hire & direct a freelance video editor.
- Deliver a predictable 5 to 10 qualified leads per week from owned channels by the end of your first 90 days.
- Optimize our existing lead magnets and the nurture sequences behind them.
- Build and refine nurture sequences from our content library.
- Track CAC and lead quality, and protect a high close rate on marketing-sourced calls.
- Plan, launch, and analyze paid ads (Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube).
- Own the ad budget against a target cost-per-qualified-lead.
- Guard our brand voice and visual identity.
- Stay ahead of the curve on SEO, AI tools, and new tactics.
- Build out the broader marketing strategy and the team to run it.
- Collaborate with and support the delivery team on our broker-engagement strategy.
- Shape our partnership and sponsorship strategy.
- Recruit, manage, and develop freelancers and future hires as the engine scales.
Requirements
- 6+ years in content, brand, or growth marketing, ideally for a founder-led or creator-led brand.
- You've built content-driven lead engines before.
- You are comfortable with studio gear, filming, and directing edits.
- You can design clean, on-brand assets in Canva yourself.
- You have experience with paid ads and can optimize the funnel.
- You have a genuine ownership mentality.
Qualifications
- You are strategic and focused on building a sustainable content moat.
- You are a business nerd who understands the psychology of a buyer.
- You have a taste for on-brand content and can differentiate between on-brand and almost-on-brand.
- You are comfortable with complex, boring topics and can make them genuinely compelling and engaging.

Pay
Base salary range plus performance incentives tied to qualified-lead generation and marketing-sourced pipeline that bring total on-target earnings (OTE) into the $115K to $135K range. Final package depends on years of experience and proven ability to build a content-driven lead engine.
Schedule
Full-time, operating on US Central Time hours.
