Omninet Capital is a Beverly Hills–based owner-operator of multifamily and commercial real estate with a national portfolio. We are seeking an experienced, highly trustworthy Senior Bookkeeper & Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to one of the company's Principals. This position is approximately 80% bookkeeping and accounting support and 20% executive support.
Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Accounting — Approximately 80%
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for personal, investment, and related business accounts.
- Record and categorize financial transactions accurately and consistently.
- Manage accounts payable, including reviewing invoices, coordinating approvals, and processing payments.
- Reconcile bank, credit card, investment, and other financial accounts on a monthly cycle.
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and supporting documentation.
- Track expenses, reimbursements, deposits, and cash activity, including proper allocation of costs across entities and accounts.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, account summaries, and supporting schedules.
- Assist with budgeting, cash-flow tracking, and variance reporting.
- Coordinate with internal accounting teams, external accountants, tax professionals, financial advisors, and other service providers.
- Organize and maintain records needed for tax preparation, investments, audits, and financial reporting.
- Identify discrepancies, research issues, and ensure outstanding items are resolved promptly and escalated when appropriate.
- Maintain highly organized and secure electronic and physical financial records consistent with company data-security and retention standards.
Executive & Administrative Support — Approximately 20%
- Provide responsive administrative and executive support to the Principal.
- Manage scheduling, appointments, correspondence, and travel coordination.
- Assist with document preparation, filing, recordkeeping, and special projects.
- Coordinate with vendors, advisors, business partners, and other professional contacts.
- Track follow-up items and ensure commitments and deadlines are met.
- Handle administrative and occasional personal requests on behalf of the Principal with professionalism, discretion, and flexibility.
Requirements
- 5+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or financial administration experience.
- Strong working knowledge of general accounting principles, reconciliations, accounts payable, and financial recordkeeping.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to manage highly sensitive financial, business, and personal information with the utmost confidentiality.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to accuracy.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage changing priorities.
- Professional and polished, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Dependable, service-oriented, and willing to assist beyond core bookkeeping responsibilities when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience.
- Experience supporting a Principal, executive, family office, investment office, or high-net-worth individual.
- Experience in real estate, investment management, or a multi-entity environment.
Work Environment & Schedule
- On-site position based in Beverly Hills, California; standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
- Occasional local travel or off-site errands may be required; a valid California driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
Pay
Compensation Range: $41.00 – $50.00 per hour ($85,280 – $104,000 annualized), plus discretionary bonus eligibility and full benefits.
