Job Description Senior Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster Seeking an experienced Senior Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster to join a growing team. You’ll play a key role in delivering a high-quality claims experience by managing both first- and third-party bodily injury losses, along with related property damage exposures. Key Responsibilities Review and interpret policy coverage based on claim facts and applicable provisionsDetermine liability, including evaluation of comparative negligence scenariosPartner with leadership on high-exposure claims, reserve adequacy, and overall claim strategyAssess and respond to settlement demands with sound judgmentNegotiate resolutions with claimants, attorneys, and other involved partiesLeverage available data and reporting to identify trends and inform claim handling decisionsSupport special initiatives and projects as needed within the claims function Qualifications 7+ years of experience handling commercial auto claims, including at least 5 years managing complex injury casesMinimum of 3 years working within an insurance carrier environmentProven experience managing claims with values up to $1MBackground in handling litigated filesActive adjuster license in your home state (or designated home state)Ability to obtain a New York adjuster license within the first 90 daysStrong track record of meeting or exceeding performance metrics such as cycle time and recovery outcomesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated negotiation abilityProactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to take ownership of resultsCustomer-focused mindset with strong accountabilityAbility to collaborate effectively with distributed teamsComfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environmentsBachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and 10+ years of relevant claims experience Preferred Experience 5+ years handling commercial transportation claimsActive New York independent adjuster licenseExperience working in a technology-driven or startup environment
