Senior Board Design Engineer
About the role
NVIDIA is seeking an outstanding Platform Design Engineer to join our Circuit Solutions Group team. The role involves designing evaluation boards for NVIDIA products such as GPUs, CPUs, and test chips. Key responsibilities include driving the design process from schematic creation to layout, managing documentation for manufacturing, collaborating with architects and chip leads to define platform specifications, and hands-on development and testing.
Responsibilities
- Design responsibility for evaluation boards for NVIDIA products
- Drive all aspects of design execution, including electrical schematics and component selection
- Provide layout guidance and manage documentation for product release to manufacturing and partners
- Collaborate with Platform Architects and Chip Leads to create platform specifications and ensure designs meet performance and testing requirements
- Hands-on development and testing in a lab environment, validation plans, and bring-up processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 12+ years of board/system design experience
- Proven experience with system bring-up and validation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills
Qualifications
- Deep knowledge in analog and digital electrical circuits
- Experience with SoC platform design, including high current power delivery and high-speed signals
- Proven industry experience with board design and fabrication, including schematics, layout, and thermal/mechanical design processes
Skills
- Strong technical background in electronics and circuit design
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Widely considered one of the technology world’s most desirable employers, NVIDIA offers highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package. The base salary range is $196,000 - $310,500. Additionally, employees are eligible for equity and benefits.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
