Senior BIM Specialist I

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior BIM Specialist I to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of BIM projects ensuring high quality and coordination
• Translate engineering markups into buildable, clear documentation
• Keep BIM workflows efficient by anticipating and resolving conflicts
• Provide informal coaching and mentorship to junior Designers
• Contribute to improving BIM standards and workflows across the firm
• Maintain organized and accurate models and documentation
• Support production goals and participate in performance reviews

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in AEC industry with strong Revit proficiency
• Experience in coordinating BIM execution and construction documentation
• Ability to manage and maintain coordinated Revit models
• Advanced understanding of cross-discipline coordination and building systems
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience supporting technology system layouts is preferred

Education

Associate Degree or Technical Certificate in relevant field or equivalent experience
