About the role

This position is based out of any of our San Jose, CA or San Francisco, CA office.

Responsibilities

  • Executes and tracks daily work plans.
  • Provides recommendations for changes to improve standards and procedures, as necessary.
  • Provides technical support to project managers, field personnel, estimators, and customers.
  • Responds to questions and addresses problems with appropriate resolutions and plan revisions as needed.
  • Works closely with design teams while applying detailed attention to modeling, clashing, and annotating sheets.
  • Gathers and requests specific information from other design disciplines necessary to move forward and complete electrical designs on schedule.
  • Makes plan changes according to feedback received.
  • Escalates cost and scheduling issues to manager.
  • Develops a high level of understanding in the installation of electrical systems, the National Electrical Code, and other building codes.
  • Stays informed of new electrical and safety codes, materials, technologies, techniques, and practices.
  • Participates in electrical construction-related training to maintain a high level of proficiency and updated technical skills.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience in building information modeling (BIM), engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of BIM modeling experience.
  • Proficiency in using Autodesk, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office software.
  • Experience using Evolve software is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Basic project management experience and skills.
  • Understanding of the project life cycle.

Skills

  • To read, interpret, and understand electrical contracts, plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Basic knowledge of the National Electrical Code preferred.

Pay

$83,100 – $99,700 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Occasional travel may be required.
