About the role
This position is based out of any of our San Jose, CA or San Francisco, CA office.
Responsibilities
- Executes and tracks daily work plans.
- Provides recommendations for changes to improve standards and procedures, as necessary.
- Provides technical support to project managers, field personnel, estimators, and customers.
- Responds to questions and addresses problems with appropriate resolutions and plan revisions as needed.
- Works closely with design teams while applying detailed attention to modeling, clashing, and annotating sheets.
- Gathers and requests specific information from other design disciplines necessary to move forward and complete electrical designs on schedule.
- Makes plan changes according to feedback received.
- Escalates cost and scheduling issues to manager.
- Develops a high level of understanding in the installation of electrical systems, the National Electrical Code, and other building codes.
- Stays informed of new electrical and safety codes, materials, technologies, techniques, and practices.
- Participates in electrical construction-related training to maintain a high level of proficiency and updated technical skills.
Requirements
- Ace degree or equivalent work experience in building information modeling (BIM), engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-4 years of BIM modeling experience.
- Proficiency in using Autodesk, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office software.
- Experience using Evolve software is a plus.
- Skills to read, interpret, and understand electrical contracts, plans, drawings, and specifications, and basic knowledge of the National Electrical Code preferred.
- Basic project management experience and skills.
- Understanding of the project life cycle.

Pay
$83,100 – $99,700 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Occasional travel may be required.
