Senior BI Engineer (Databricks / Data Modeling Lead)

Strong senior BI/Data Engineer with hands-on Databricks experience, expert in data modeling (Kimball/star schema), and capable of leading BI initiatives while still coding.

• Design and build semantic layers and data models in Databricks
• Develop scalable data models using Kimball methodology
• Work hands-on with SQL and Python for transformations
• Lead BI projects and guide small engineering teams
• Ensure data quality, governance, and performance
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Analytics teams

• Tech lead or hands-on manager (not purely managerial)
• Strong in both architecture and coding
• Experience owning BI/data modeling projects end-to-end
• Comfortable working in evolving data environments (CI/CD, automation)
