Senior BI Developer - GRC& SDLC

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior BI Developer to lead the design and delivery of reporting solutions focused on Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) controls. This role centers on transforming governance and compliance requirements into scalable data models, automated reporting, and executive dashboards that provide actionable insights into engineering practices. You will play a key role in enabling transparency across SDLC processes by developing data-driven views of control adoption, compliance posture, operational exceptions, and performance trends. This position requires close collaboration with engineering, risk, compliance, and platform teams to ensure accurate, reliable, and meaningful reporting outcomes. The ideal candidate collaborates across multiple technology domains to ensure successful data solution implementation, reporting accuracy, and high-quality insights that support governance and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing SDLC control frameworks and translate them into measurable data-driven metrics and KPIs.
• Identify, map, and integrate data sources required to support control measurement and reporting.
• Design and develop scalable data models and reporting architectures for SDLC governance insights.
• Build interactive dashboards and scorecards for engineering leadership, risk, compliance, and executive stakeholders.
• Develop automated reporting solutions to track compliance, control effectiveness, and performance across teams and applications.
• Establish data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance processes to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, security, and governance teams to validate reporting logic and metrics.
• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities in reporting and data processes.
• Document data flows, metric definitions, dashboard logic, and reporting methodologies.
• Support knowledge transfer and enable internal teams to maintain and enhance reporting solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or reporting development.
• Experience working with SDLC processes, DevSecOps environments, or technology governance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle metrics and engineering performance indicators.
• Proven ability to translate business and compliance requirements into dashboards and measurable KPIs.
• Strong SQL skills and experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Experience integrating data from multiple enterprise systems using APIs, ETL, or data pipelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) reporting initiatives.
• Familiarity with enterprise BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Exposure to engineering tools such as CI/CD platforms, ticketing systems, and code repositories.
• Understanding of data governance, lineage, and reporting best practices.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments with cross-functional teams.
