Meet the Team
TORC is seeking a Senior Business Operations Analyst to join the Technology Operations team. This role requires expertise in finance, technical skills, and data analytics to enhance decision-making through user-centered dashboards and visualizations.
Position Responsibilities
- Develop and implement novel solutions to monitor and improve business performance and efficiency.
- Define, instrument, and maintain new and existing business KPIs from scratch.
- Create automation to ensure accurate, scalable, and low-latency solutions.
- Build actionable, user-friendly, and intuitive dashboards using Tableau or similar tools.
- Ensure transparency of data quality by documenting data sources and validation processes.
- Work with IT staff to design and implement secure and sustainable data access paths.
- Use out-of-the-box thinking to develop and implement solutions to unique challenges.
- Create documentation and provide training to foster data literacy within the organization.
- Answer complex business questions via ad-hoc SQL queries or Python notebooks.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analysis, Statistics, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
- 5+ years of experience in business analytics.
- 5+ years of experience working with databases.
- 5+ years of experience with large-scale data systems and analytics.
- 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence/data analytics tools (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- An analytical thinker with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and the ability to extract value from data.
- The ability to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to work independently.
- A team player with a professional attitude.
- Data-driven and highly analytical, able to translate data into meaningful stories for strategic decision-making.
- A self-starter who loves personal empowerment and prioritizes work among multiple projects.

- A team player who enjoys both SQL/Pandas work and collaborating with teammates and stakeholders.
