Senior Benefits Consultant - Hybrid (Chicago, IL)

Responsibilities

• Develop sophisticated benefit design and renewal strategies to address complex client issues
• Collaborate with account management and client service teams on strategy, RFP distribution, and renewal analysis
• Define and communicate the full scope of services for clients
• Establish clear timelines with client service teams and manage updates
• Accountable for revenue and profitability of client accounts
• Monitor project success in scope, budget, timeliness, and client satisfaction
• On-board new clients by coordinating with client service teams to establish implementation plans

Qualifications

• 7+ years of benefits consulting experience required
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Valid life and health insurance license required
• Strong understanding of complex benefit plan design and funding strategies
• Able to manage an up-market client portfolio with organizations having 500+ employees
• Must hold a practical knowledge of quoting processes and tools
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with database applications
