Senior Benefits Analyst
Roles And Responsibilities
- Manages the administration of the company’s US benefit plans and programs in accordance with applicable plan documents and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Provides input into the design of new programs and develops associated policies and procedures
- Acts as project manager for Open Enrollment, including coordination with vendors, developing written communications, and scheduling employee information sessions
- Responds to day-to-day employee inquiries accurately using strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Manages administrative processes related to 401k and pension plans
- Manages leaves process in partnership with TPA and works closely with payroll on submission of STD payments
- Prepares data/reports for plan audits, non-discrimination testing, and 5500 submissions
- Establishes and maintains effective relationships with benefit plan carriers and vendors to ensure performance is maintained or exceeded
- Captures and communicates benefit information to human resources, managers, and employees
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Human Resources or Business Management
- 3 plus years of benefits administration experience
- Working knowledge of federal laws and regulations regarding benefits and other Human Resources regulations a plus
- Excellent Microsoft Office and internet skills required; experience with HRIS technology platforms (SAP preferred)
- ADP HWSE knowledge a plus
- Requires strong mathematical, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills; must be highly detail-oriented
- Strong written and verbal skills are essential; must possess the ability to communicate information clearly and concisely
- Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Must have the ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality in all matters related to employee compensation and benefits
Pay
Salary: $77,638 - $116,457 annually plus bonus. A starting salary higher than $77,638 annually is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale.
